Killax now you have to read about how to install retail leopard, so you can buy the real OS, borrow one, or download it, then follow munkys guide in the tutorial section, using 132 bootloader + DSDT Patch, and finally use Voodoo Kernel, he posted some useful links there too... You can find more tutorials about how to install retail using 132 bootloader in google for sure if you need more info
![]() Good Luck and Happy Hackint0sh, Post your Progress in the Installation forum. P.S. About the seller, as you know they will tell you everything to make you buy the hardware or any item in teh store, personally I like Asus or Gigabyte for Hackint0sh.

Thanx!! icchansan
The other configuration assembly they want to sell me is this: Motherboard: Gigabyte(i guess... they don't tell me exactly) Processor: Core 2 Quad Q9400 Video: nVidia Geforce 9800GT 512 mb (the same) Memory: 8GB RAM DDR2 Hard Drive: 500GB 7200 rpm (Same) Power Supply 500w DVDRW Serial ATA (the same) This set is better than the other (whit i7 processor set) i tell you before??? (The great stuff of this second set is: come whit 8 GB RAM (but DDR2) and most important thing is also come whit the leopard installed, and all running work perfectly) THE BAD: The 2 different sets same exactly the SAME MONEY. ![]() (obviously different sellers) Would you prefer??? PD: I don't have any experience on make the hackintosh, but i guess i try my best in case i buy the set of i7 920 processor... Thanx for the info!! icchansan |

Of coz the 1st one is the best, go for it, you can always update the system, adding more RAM in few months, ask for triple channel packs with 6GB of RAM DDR3, for almost the same money you gonna get the latest processor
hope it help, but I sound like a seller here, the choice is yours

Ok, So I'm new to the boards. I'll start by posting my setup:
Asus p6t deluxe intel core i7 920 6gigs of ddr3 ram MSI Geforce 9600GT 512MB ddr 3 I've been following MJ's tutorial for the voodoo install with a retail dvd :: [How To] Install Leopard Retail DVD on ASUS P6T Deluxe LGA 1366 (core i7) - InsanelyMac Forum I'm using an older retail osx10.5.1 So I get the system to boot and follow munky's EFI guide adding MJ's additions. Then I install the 10.5.6 combo update. When the system boots up, and it takes quite awhile to do so, the windows ghost when i drag them and the video over all seems shot. I followed a tut where I installed nv9xx series drives and then NVdarwin1.2.5. Now when I boot I get a black screen, seems like it was trying to configure the video card, sys. is still on but isn't posting to the os. I tried -x to get into safe mode. Just wanted to see if anyone had any Ideas or experienced similar issues. Thanks, Frank Dertals |
