Hi, I'm from Argentina so I apologize for my english.
In my country I can't get de Gigabyte GA-G31M-ES2L so I wanted to use the G31M-ES2C, in HLC says its compatible but not de mic. Does anyone know if this mobo works properly??? I don't care about the integrated graphics card, I will bought the 9500GT, but I'm having a hard time finding the correct mother, and of course, it has to be cheap. Tks, Federico. |

Hi
the HCL here: HCL 10.5.6 - OSx86 says that only rev 0 and rev 1. of the Gigabyte GA-G31M-ES2L will work with LAN. [Please Note: The LAN only works out of the box for rev 0 & 1.x of this motherboard. Rev 2 changes to a Atheros chipset, which is impossible to get working correctly.] that seems to be confirmed here: Retail Leopard 10.5.6 Gigabyte GA-G31M-ESL2 - InsanelyMac Forum) of course the current supply of these boards is rev 2 any other boards available at the same price?? cheers |

Then, I just wanna ask about drivers for cheaper notebook. I use a cheap notebook called Axioo with this specs: Type: MLC 0152X Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2 GHz Chipset: SiS M672 + SiS 968 Video: SiS Mirage 3+ (a.k.a. SiS M672) WLAN: Realtek RTL8187B RAM: 2GB HD: Seagate 250GB Audio: Realtek HD Audio (^^is that ehough? ![]() )Yesterday I tried iDeneb v1.4 10.5.6 on my notebook. The installation is successful, but iDeneb can't boot it self, it said like this--but not exactly: kernel panic, no driver found for this platform. I think it because iDeneb didn't support my chipset, but referring to the installation note, iDeneb had SiS driver, which is the same with VIA and 2 others.I just wanna try a Hackintosh, I hope somebody can help me, please...
