Heres a guide for your Mobo, seems like you need to mod the BIOS, you can try DSDT Patch, anyway check there and good luck with your combo

I appreciate your help, and am completely new to this. While I have been building/repairing computers for a while, this would be my first hackintosh.

I already have a case, psu, RAM, HD, and CD drive, so all I need is a video card, processor, and mobo. I would like to get the best bang for the buck, with 500 being the highest I could go. The less the better, and I am leaning towards an E7 series.

I plan on purchasing from Newegg, and is this the one you are referring to? GA-G31M-ES2L? It is on Newegg. Please note it is a micro atx case.

Yeah for that mobo theres lots of guides, google a bit and you will get some tutorials, ima try to update this list with pics some links for the tutorials, good luck and enjoy hackintosh.

Hey i actually decided to go a different route then the asus p5q
I am going to use a MSI X58 platinum and I7 920 i will post pics and progress

Try munkys guide in the tutorial forum, all the full links are there, if you have problems to make your own 132 bootloader, try the one by slinger in the distribution forum, good luck
