Restore keeps stalling on every attempt....
I can leave it running for hours, never goes any further. Is the comm board dead, or is it the logic board? [libusbrestore: 0x280, 13:10:05.305] => <Restore Device 0B2D75F8>: operation 28 progress -1 |

No, but someone else did after they dropped it.
I wasn't hardware unlocked or anything, but it won't restore, just stalls forever. Pretty sure it's the logic board that's fubar?? Turns on/off, screen works.
Not too worried about opening it up, since.... 1. It was dropped 2. someone already had opened it up The phone itself is very easy to disassemble, again not too worried Quote:
It's obvious that the restore process starts, communication w/ device is clearly shown in the restore log file(s). So wondering if it's worth trying a diff logic board. |

Using iphoneinterface.exe can communicate with the iPhone, but still no go on a restore.

Guessing it's not able to write to the flash. |
