do you have any after market accessories or chargers which you use on both phones? Sometimes they can ruin your battery..

I found the problem... but i need advice frm a hardware expert....

The "Dialog semiconductor" IC is the power manager for application processor in 3GS... there are 3 components (Prolly resistors) (idk what they are),,, which gets 3.7v(from battery)... but the output of one of these component mixes ground with it...which becomes the input to the IC... as a result C gets heated up and finally ends in draining the battery... any solution?? pls?

Normally, this is a problem with de PMU (APPLE 338S0533), and to solve it you need to replace the PMU from the logic board it self. It's BGA IC type, so it's a professional task.

Cheers!

I have same problem. Have You find to buy that IC?
I think that original IC can be replaced with DIALOG DA9052.
Maybe anyone know where I can get one of these IC?
