We all have read about this issue for a while now and I will not touch the basics on it, just a specific.

I heard about this ultrasonic method to clean and restore circuit boards from corrosion and mineral deposits, have any of you guys heard anything about it?

If so, what kind of chemical do you use to clean? The brookstone ultrasonic cleaner (Ultrasonic Jewelry and Eyeglass Cleaner) suggests tap water but we all know this is not a good option, some have recommended thinner and others a combination of thinner and isopropyl alcohol.

Can anyone advise what the best chemical is to clean the iphones motherboard? and how effective is this ultrasonic method?
