I've searched and searched.. the only answer is to download volume booster which i have done with no difference.

My issue is that my speaker volume on full volume is very quiet, with the headphones in it's probably the same volume. I just thought this was iphone speakers being poor but i have two mates with 3G iphones and their speakers are a hell of a lot louder than mine.. with theirs on full it's so loud you can't even hear mine.

It's no big issue because i rarely use the speaker but like if i wanted to let multiple people listen to a song or something (not just two, one per headphone lol) then i can't really because it's so quiet.

Is there any way of making it louder?

You can take a pin and punch holes through the speaker. There is a protective cover under the holes which causes the low volume. You should see a big difference if you do this but it may allow dust in there, so its your choice. I did it with mine and everything is still working fine months later.

This really works. One reason for low volume is the holes are hosed by pocket lint and etc.
