Maybe somebody would know about this, I have already searched and found nobody else with this "problem"..

I'm using the headphones that came with the phone, and the mic doesn't work. I put the same headphones on another iphone and it works fine, it's my phone. I have tried using other headphones as well and no work.

Would somebody have the slight idea on what could it be? The connector inside?
I have gone from every firmware since I bought the phone and I remember when I used to be in 1.1.1 it worked fine, after that I've never tried it again so I don't really know when I stopped working but I tried all this today with 1.1.4....

It's not really that important, I will try it on a diifferent firmware when I update to a newer version in the future.

I just want to know if somebody has some idea on what could it be, I'm just curious.
