Hi everyone!
Anyone of you has experienced with motherboards that when are connected to some sort of ipod car chargers or ipod sound system they seems to become fried? The iphones died, but replacing them come back to life. Any clues?? |

Hey thanks!
I'll give it a try. Have you replaced that IC before with positive results? |

I have a sad problem with my iPhone (1.0.2 software unlocked)
I have been using the phone without issue since September and while on a recent trip, I got into a friends car and plugged my iPhone into their car charger. Bad Idea! The iPhone screen went completely blank (not even backlit) and ever since I have been unable to get it to do anything. i've tried all of the usual trouble shooting, button combinations, connecting it to my Mac, connecting it with the apple mains charger but NADA - not a thing. Reading other forums, it seems that some car chargers are known to blow iphones ;( Can anyone suggest what would be necessary to rectify - I am in Australia so any suggestions on repairers would be appreciated (Probably not an option to return it to the Apple store where I bought it!). |
