you only have to create your own 2.1 patch file once - i.e its not done
i only have 2.0, so i can patch my 2.0 iapd. when winpwn 3 comes out i will upgrade to 2.1 and hence patch 2.1 all i can suggest is that you take the whole iapd off 2.0 and use it for 2.1 i REALLY cant post that anywhere cause thats posting apple's work VERBATIM so can someone try it and see? waiting on winpwn 3 |

Now that QuickPwn 2.2 is out, how do your cables react?
Are the official Apple cables still working? Any change with the 3rd party cables that used to work with 2.0 but stopped working with 2.1 (e.g. dealextreme)? @ iSchmave Are you going to work on a 2.1 patch file now? foton |

But I don't have the slightest clue how to patch it.
I found a cable at usbfever.com that is supposed to work with 2.2, but it is out of stock. Foton |

I just ordered a cable form ebay for $9.99.
It supposedly works with firmware versions 2.0 and 2.2 on the iTouch and iPhone. NOT THE 2.1 firmware. I will post back if it really works or not. here is a link to it: Damn it's $8.99 now... |
