i don't know if some of you are lawyers but you can sue apple over creating a legal scam for a filthy cable without specifying innocent users completely about it on their package boxes that they would need to pay 50$ more for this cable,this is a white way of consumer cheating. instead of packing right cable for their product ,it was also bad for them not giving charger ........i hope next apple ipod or iphone you might have to buy its hard drive or flash memory seperately and ........more next versions you might have to buy head phones seperately too...... and later on you may need to assemble whole unit in the year 2020 and each spare would cost you 50$ each . Very good apple i must say!!!

oh yeah i almost forgot

keep buying each 50$ things for next 10 christmass and you would get a very cheap chip locked apple wrist band free of charge (just clips spring charges apply =only 10 $),and if you get deaf by 10th christmas no need to say anymore because at apple we really care for you by paying 50$ salaries to our 15 hour 6day employees.

they need better marketing strategy ,On one hand they are handing free ipods with mac's to students
and on the other they are selling av cable which is supposed to be inside product pack.
poor marketing dirty strategies,wondering who are their marketting managers ,do they even do alot of home work too.

i cant find any methods in the spring board app relating to video out.

i still think IAP is the way to go:

but anyway, we should decide on a framework to work on...

even if i am ready to pay my place does not have these cables or dock not any where around 250 or i think next place would be 1500 miles near me(SMARTUP APPLE first sow retailers then reap benifits or loose customers!!!), and with the way we are progressing we might be able to hack it in 2 years which means 6thgen will be obsolete by then since terabytes would conquer disks at the rate which computers are progressing,for customers like me its a loose-loose game both sides even if we want to pay or we want to hack since we can pay but no place to offer us the item.Pathetic apple shame on you.i think i would blog this issue soon.

tell me please, if the IAP.framework could be patched to always enable tvout, does this mean that everything we see on iPod's / iPhone's screen is also send thru tvout? That would be great. Keep up hacking

No, it will just make the phone act like if the original video cable is always plugged.
