I always have my iPhone in my Jeans-Pocket. Today I wanted to get my iPhone out of my pocket. When my hand was in my pocket, I touched the headphone jack with my finger and lost a piece of my skin on my finger. I told this to my girlfriend and she showed me her finger. She has happened the same thing a few days ago.

The jack is so sharp-edged that it is really dangerous. Does anybody else have had the same issue?

Yes... I've noticed the same thing... haven't cut myself yet, but the hole for the headphone jack has a very sharp edge.

Why are you being so aggressive toward the OP? He wasn't whining or really complaining about anything, all he wanted to know is if others have sliced their skin on the iphone jack.

I too noticed it was quite sharp. It is not as much of an issue for me now that I have an Agent18 hard case that raises the profile slightly. I guess if someone has small fingers, the risk of a cut increases. Maybe a bit of fine grit sandpaper to soften the edges might help?

Ya... I sliced my finger good last night too. A q-tip worked well to get the blood out of the headphone jack. Im going to file down the edges today. I was really surprised it was so fn sharp!

Did it work filing the edges? I now have 4 scars on my hand from my iphone. I am very surprised that nobody else has problems with the edges.
