Default new imac - can i sync my 3GS (and my macbook pro)

i've been only using my macbook pro but need a desktop. so, my iphone has only been sync'd to that one machine. i know i can merge my laptop info to the imac using time machine. BUT can i then also sync my iphone without any issues once i've merged my data using time machine to set up new desktop?

thanks

i guess one of the main concern would be conflicts from itunes playlists....

So I'm assuming you're using a time machine backup to copy everything from your MBP to your new iMac. If so, everything should work fine. I've done this many times, even between mac and win and it went smoothly.

thanks...i figured most things programs docs etc go over without any problem. i know the general info wouldn't be a problem. but i wasn't sure if with all the stuff i've done to my jailbroken iphone if i then tried to sync it with the imac, there'd be sync issues
