SSH over USB on Linux

Hello,
I want to make a ssh connection from a Linux to my iPhone 3GS via the USB cable. I found this project, but it doesn't seem to work. When I run it I get:

Code:

$ ./itunnel
- iphone get device error: -3
ERROR: failed to connect to iphone. quitting.
quit ok.

Do you know what can be the problem ? Or any other tool for linux ?
