3g 2.2.1, windows 7 rc 32-bit.
I want to use windows 7 as an ssh server so I can do a dump of my iphone data using dd.exe.
The only thing is that I have been trying and TRYING for the last 2 hours to ssh my windows from my iphone, but only to no avail. Of course my 3g is jailbroken and I have mobileterminal and openssh installed on my iphone.

Would you please help me with the easiest ssh client for windows?

I have tried lots of them but cant get stuff to work, please if you can, post a n00b tutorial on how to freakin establish an ssh session.

isnt putty an ssh client for windows rather than a good easy ssh server? thats what I need, I need to be able to connect to my windows from my iphone through ssh so that I can dump

I know it's been two months, but did you ever get any resolution on this? I need to ssh so I can dump an image of my phone, but I can't seem to get it to work. I can do some stuff via winscp, but anytime I try to ssh I get a connection refused error. I've played around with some things I've read online, but can't seem to get anything but error messages. I have a 3g jailbroken phone with 3.0 on it and I have mobileterminal and openSSH on my iphone.

install cygwin on your windows machine, this should solve your problem. I currently use rsync on the iphone to sync my pictures off the iphone across the network. I don't use cygwin, i use ubuntu.. but i have used cygwin in the past and it does work...

Just google cygwin.. if you need some more help I could probably write you a quick tutorial on this subject... just let me know..

I use Copssh (copssh - OpenSSH for Windows | ITeF!x), working fine for me & easy to install
