As nobody is willing to explain how to get bootnuter onto the phone. And a direct download of the 2.1 dep and apt-get install didnt get it to work.

Got the file from inside quick pawn.
Unziped into the applications directory.
Put the single plist file in /system/lib/launcd etc.

Then all off a sudden itunell stoped working.
Ifunbox stoped working.

Itunes stooped working. Had to remove it and reinstall.

(All I did was create a directory called bootnuter.app in the applications directory and put the files there).

How can I figure out why itunell and ifunbox has stoped working ?

I still have shell access thru terminal on the phone.
ifun box simply shows me my phone with jailed below it.
And says it cant understand my pics or sound library.

It recommends that I jail break the phone.
What are the files & services I need on the iphone to use itunel browser and terminal from the PC ?

Any idea how this could have happened ?
Oh I also uploaded the Utube activator package.

If I ssh into the phone from the phone am able to run sftp

THe issue may be that itunell needs to figure out how to handle the changed security keys on the phone.
I even tried defining a new device but nada.

just restored the keys back to the orignal and everything is working.
\private\var\root\library\lockdown

Always a good idea to keep a copy of iSSH on your phone when nothing seemed to be working it let me telnet into the phone.

Now itunes / itunell / ifunbox are all happy.
boot nuter still wont show up or run.
All the permissions are right.

I was trying to solve a problem with itunes that some days ago doen't sync and I reinstall itunes, reinstall Windows driver, uninstall and reinstall USB Apple driver and so on ...

So in one moment, my Total Commander Plugin doesn't work in some paths (var/private ...), I've tried ifunbox and DiskAid and they said that I need to Jailbreak and my FW was 1.2

In my iphone everything is all right, I can sync with itunes and it said that my FW was 3.0.1. I could use WinSCP to explore every path in iphone via Wifi, but not with USB, itunnel

I don't know nothing about jailbreak (a friend made to me) and nothing about what to do with "lockdown", I don't have a backup of this archives

What can I do?
