Hi, Im planning to give to my dad an iphone for his birthday, but he needs a phone that lets him do office stuff on the go. Is it possible to edit excel, word etc... documents on an iphone?

The iPhone can only view office documents but there are apps you can buy from the AppStore that allow editing.

Tethering is available (connecting laptop to web via phone) but some carriers have not enabled it for iPhones on their network yet. AT&T for example.

If your carrier does not offer tethering, there are non official solutions for tethering in other posts on this forum.
