Just a small question:

has the restore process been changed to that of the ipod touch (afair still not cracked), or is it the same as the iphone original (i.e. with some adaptation it *seems* it would work similarly to the current jailbreak solutions?)

I'd say its 1x1 right now.... but it looks like Team Dev Team (lol) is on the offensive now...

If you want to restore your iphone now, hold shift while clicking the restore button and browse to the 1.0.2 firmware file (see step 5 in this new guide here for more info: http://hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=8539).

I'm curious if those who updated their firmware today can confirm that they can successfully restore to the older firmware AND put the unlock back on. Just be nice to know that its possible to go back with no harm done.

What if you did a hardware unlock? Is there a difference?

I didnt use the software unlock because it wasnt available at the time...
