Exclamation (HELP) How do i break my iphone?

Hear me out.... im in no way trying to fraud apples warranty here. Heres the story, my iphone speaker randomly stopped working. I have no water damage, nor cracks in my screen, not even a scuff on my phone but the idiot at the genius bar refused to replace it claiming it wouldnt do it on its own. I called apple they said its covered in my warranty. because im leaving on vacation saturday i dont have time for apple to send the replacement, i have an appointment at the genius bar tomorrow in which the guy said:

"if any other hardware or software problems follow the speaker incident that can not be fixed by a restore i will swap it for you"

so basically im gonna get this same guy tomorrow because he hates me and i need to find another reason

please help im not a bad person i just want justice

I replaced my 2G for the same reason. Funny thing is, it was a jailbroken guitar tuning app that blew out my speaker lol.

Apple replaced it no problem...AND I wasn't even the owner on record.

Here is the 1015 error

iphone restore error 1015 - solution..

It's the same problem again... Baseband firmware not matching the phone.. I get a lot of these lately especially since the 2.0 was launched. This solution should work for all 1012/1013/1014/1015 problems.

Simply use iLiberty or independance or ziphone (whatever you are comfortable with) to get your phone in the normal mode.

In iLiberty it's under the Advanced Menu called "Exit Restore Mode" or something.
Once it gets out of Recovery mode, it's back to normal.
If you're using Ziphone, click "Restart in Normal mode"

Once your iPhone is "Alive"... Jailbreak it (so you have the installer)

... at any stage, if you get service, STOP. (Coz I believe that you don't need to repair something that already works)

Now simply downgrade the baseband (from the iClarified source) OR completely erase the baseband (Using Baseband Eraser from the iClarified SOurce) and restore to 1.1.4 again... preferably from the DFU mode so you can be sure your baseband is written to a version matching your firmware.

After your phone is restored to a 1.1.4... unlock as usual using iLiberty (or anything else that works) and you're good to go.

Good luck
