Default Can I Use MP3 For Voicemail, SMS, & Alerts

Hi guys! How can I use MP3 for voicemail, incoming texts, and calendar alerts? Is this possible? Also, how can I make my ringtone as loud as possible?

Look into /private/var/stash/Applications for the app you want to change a sound for. They're all in aiff format.

volkpost, thanks for the reply. Now, I got 2 questions about that.

1) Must all my sounds for voicemail and incoming text be in aiff format?

2) Can't I change the formats to MP3? If not, then do I just simply rename the MP3 to aiff?

Must be .aiff and the same name as the once you find in the apps directories. you have to replace them. make sure to backup the originals before
