Hallo Together, for me the upgrade worked fine, iPhone is still active and sync working with no problems.
The only thing was, that my Ringtones created with MakeiPhoneRingtone was removed from the Library and from the iPhone. The Problem seams to be, that MakeiPhoneRingtone is not more working with the update of iTunes ..... so Apple wants to make money with Ringtones.... |

What kind of hack are you using? I am using TurboSIM, and I don't dare upgrade before a bunch of people confirms

Just downloaded iTunes version 7.4.2 and synched with my iPhone (unlocked using the Dev Team's method). All is fine except a ringtone fix has been added. So basically you cannot simply rename m4a files to m4r files to make ringtones.

Sorry, thesutex, I just took a quick Google, I think it is a link to 7.4.0 in one of the threads one mac1.no.
Well, if 7.4.2 just fix the ringtone issue, then I will try to upgrade.. wish me good luck!
