I used to use syphone to save text messages,
but it doesn't seem to work right now. I want to update from this archaic 1.1.4 JB / UL what can I use to save text messages??? |

use mobileterminal for example (cydia app) to navigate to
/private/var/mobile/Library/SMS and back up that folder, and all the other folders you need for that matter, addressbook and all of that. after you've updated, put the file back, but I have to warn you of the posibility of encountering issues due to .plist diferences from an older firmware to a newer one. Perhaps you'll manage to do this, so that the info gets backed up in your itunes, and like restore again, and syncing with itunes to get your info back. Reps up if this helped. i thought that 1.1.4 stored texts in different place than 2.1+
