I'd like to know as well. I tried the usual APN wap.voicestream.com but that doesn't work.

that sounds too good to be true. i have the bberry ulimited data, and it's 20 bucks a month. i'm betting the 5.99 web package won't work.

It is true but they don't really advertise it. I've used the $5.99 plan with many phones before......the SDA, the SonyEricsson P1, different Samsungs, etc.

This is from the hofo link...

Here's the deal
APN: Access Point ~ This can be edited on an UNLOCKED iPhone under settings.

Proxy ~ Additional settings on the phone but not available on the iPhone

1. Tmobile Web
APN: wap.voicestream.com
Proxy: 216.155.165.50:8080

2. Tmobile Total Internet
APN: internet2.voicestream.com or internet3.voicestream.com
Proxy: NONE

3. Blackberry unlimited add on
APN: wap.voicestream.com or blackberry.voicestream.com
Proxy: NONE

Now see the difference?? both total internet and blackberry plan requires no Proxy settings on the phone. iPhone can only edit your APN but not the proxy setting which renders the tmobileweb inaccessible...

Is there a way to setup the proxy on the iPhone to the info below with the $5.99 plan (don't have an iPhone, yet)?:

Access Point: wap.voicestream.com
Proxy: 216.155.165.50:8080
