If on Windows, I recommend getting PuTTY and setting it up to connect as root to your.phone.ip.address, log on phone and create link. |

What ended up "fixing" my problem was:
ln -s //var/stash/Applications Applications That created a symlink folder that allowed me to avoid a restore. |
