I don't get it. Is it that tough to do? Shouldn't take more than a couple of minutes to let the WORLD know what's going on.
This SW unlock is so frustrating, I mean are they trying to cause more stress for all of us? |

This is pretty frustrating. I figured the unlock would be out by the time I wake up so I was planning on running to the apple store to get the phone. Now it looks like I'm still gonna go but going to have an unopened Iphone waiting just in case this whole thing is a hoax.

How bout you give me the Cliff notes? Another unknown software consultant confirms the existence of the unlock?

I can assure you that they don't have software. Its not a goods like table or sofa which needs time to build. Its a software, so why the hell they require so much time.
The concept of reseller is also a bit fishy. Why cant they sell directly. Look no updates on the website. I advice all the re sellers to demand the unlock today otherwise cancel the orders. Infact consumer is the king not vice versa.

Second of all software does take time, skill and effort to build. Otherwise you could sit down and write a software unlock tonight. When they announced the hack they didnt have it in a ready to distribute form and as such they were bug testing the software and setting up distribution channels which also ment they had to move servers to a country where they could not be sued. You could verify this all online from the press, these boards and by doing a bit of research. |

This is incredible.
Yet another conspiracy theorist. Yes... A software unlock does take time to build, especially if you package it across platforms. The real issue is mass distribution and the strain on servers. Resellers will defer this strain, in addition and MOST importantly it will deflect legal attention as Apple or AT&Twill have to root out hundreds if not thousands of resellers in addition to one central body. Like a hydra or a good P2P network, there will always be more heads to cut off. The delay also is compounded by the fact that none of the resellers have been told where to send money, and that will take time. THINK BEFORE YOU POST! We will soon find out if this is real or not. Don't speculate out of your ass. |
