Exclamation Hardware unlock and the new iFuntastic

I'm going to use iFunstastic to edit /System/Library/Framework/AddressBookUI.framework/ABPhoneFormats.plist so I get my number recognized correctly, however, I don't know what might happen.

Hey JSN1, care to give some instruction on exactly what you did and edited to get your number formatting correct?

It would help a lot of people here

This plist is only used to display the phone number when dialing.
There has been a very thorough thread about this here a few days ago.

It doesn't help fixing the problem that the iphone doesn't know how to match an incoming phone number in local format with a phone number in the address book in international format.

You have to edit the <us> section and modify there for your country. Like for Australia, add:
<key>us</key>
<array>
<string>+61 # #### ####</string>
<string>+1 (###) ###-####</string>
<string>0011 $</string>
<string>0# #### ####</string>
<string>18## ######</string>
<string>#### ####</string>
</array>

But remember, that it will only prevent showing the phone number when dialing in US format (xxx)-xxx-xxxx

If you do a restore, The hardware unlock is still there.

But you should be able to just go into ifuntastic and restore the springboard there

From ifunstatic, i can't find how to restore to original spring board.
The only i way it says to remove the mods, i to do a RESTORE from there, but it says the my iphone will get back to original state, and itunes will need to be opened..
Are you sure that i will not loose the unlock?
I really dont want to go thru that again.
Thanks for your help
