Have a 1.1.2OTB which worked nice jailbreaked and with extra SIM.
Unlocked with Ziphone still working find. Did a complete Restore (after iTunes/Preferences/Syncing/Remove Backup). Unlocked again with PwnageTool. Flashed with BootNeuter (Version 4.6 - Neuter ON - FakeBlank OFF - Unlock ON). And still having MAC Address 00:5a:49:42:52:49 which don't ever has with Apple to do. We are several people using the same Network and Wi-Fi crashes when we are two (or more) connected. We did spoof the MAC Address with Term-vt100 - ifconfig en0 00:1E:52:24:??:?? and it works fine... the router read each iPhone with the default MAC Address. BUT... after power off the MAC Address returns to 00:5a:49:42:52:49. Somebody knows how to permanent fix the default MAC Address? Thanks in advance. PuchitŠ |

Thanks for the fast replies.
I knew the relation between 00:5a:49:42:52:49 and Zibri. I supposed a Restore in iTunes should put the things i their places. Unfortunately I didn't checked before running PwnageTool. But... in that case the DevTeam has missed it too. About iBooter I cannot make it work in my PowerPC G4 Dual 1.42GHz with OSX (10.5.2). Cannot find out how to instal usb libraries (gz,gzip, tgz which unziped is a Folder named 'bb'). If I just run ibootermac Terminal opens and 'Process completes' it self immediately 'Bad CPU type in executable'. |

Thanks to everybody!
DONE!!! Deleted backup (iTunes/Preferences/Syncing/Remove Backup), restored again with iTunes and runned ZiPhoneOSX-3.0 again. Now the Wi-Fi Address is (as it should be) one number higher thab the BlueTooth number and in agreement with Apple's MAC-Address Blocks (http://standards.ieee.org/regauth/oui/index.shtml). Now it's just the tedious task left... start from nought. PuchitŠ |
