Hi unlocking Iphone question?.. cheers

Hi Guys!!
I am getting my Iphone tomorrow; I am looking to use it at the mean time as a PDA, WIFI; has anybody use this method for unlocking:

Or do you recommend another way to do it?

And will unlocking the iphone will affect me using it in the future as a phone with another carrier?

that's an activation tool not an unlocking tool - and yes it works fine.

Thanks, sorry about that !! Yes it would be to activate the iphone and later unlocking the SIM.. Cheers!!!!

But the software does activate it with out opening a phone plan with AT&T?

Check your version of iTunes, though. Evidently it only works with an earlier version. I don't think it's been updated for later upgrades.
