hey guys
can anyone give me the link where i can find the new upgrade (1.0.2) file to download? i mean, i do not want to download it from itunes, i want to download it from firefox, and then doing the jailbreak with the new "apple mobile device" from the new firmware. i think i need that right?

If you download the software with itunes you can find the packaged software in your library/itunes/iphonesoftware

then you can use it for your jailbreak needs

ive checked EVERYTHING and i cant seem to find that folder! ive looked and searched all over the computer, but its just not there! not the folder nor the file. and im sure ive download it....
so thats why i need the direct link to the download

how do i transform this to an .ipsw file, so that itunes can recognise it and restore my iphone from there? just changing the files name and extension?

its a hidden folder, easiest way to get to it is Start>run "%USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates" (XP only i believe)
