Hey guys i have abit of a dilema, i have no idea why or how this has happend?!

i upgraded to 1.1.4 on itunes and then used ziphone for mac to unlock and activate, i was looking though the general section and the about, then i found out that im on 1.1.3 not 1.1.4 ?? when i plug in to my computer itunes says to me that its up to date !!

i have no idea why this is happening...

hers some bb info:

modem firmware: 04.04.05_G
eeprom version: 208
eeprom revision: 1
bootloader version: 3.9_m3s2

it also says on the about screen, version: 1.1.3 (4a102)

i had the same thing happend to me but i just slapped the blaze 1.1.4 sv patch on it and i was ok and itunes didnt bother me about upgrading, also isnt it supposed to say 1.1.3 4A93?

Nah mate, 4A102....

btw the phone says im on 1.1.3 but itunes says im on 1.1.4 and i want to be on 1.1.4 init.

its n/p bro and thanks, ok i am going to kill to birds with one stone on this just add ride4.org/shai.xml as a source in installer then go to sources and add all sources, it will give you a ton of sources and blazes old source. A package called new source!!! should appear, install it and wait for sources to reload again, yea i know it takes ahwile beacuse of all the sources but you can just manually pick thru them, once new source is done you can unistall it and you should have blazes new sources, from there you can choose a system version patch

i think this is there old source you could try and add it to save some time and see if the new source!!! package shows up

Weird, I've just checked my phone and it says the same 1.1.3 (4A102). My only conclusion is that 1.1.4 is just a bug-fixed 1.1.3 and therefore shows up on the phone as a different version of 1.1.3.

How about we get some checks done peeps.

maybe the firmware read out is dependant on where your located like i am in the US what about you guys?

Edit: I am going to breakfast, i will either do this by phone or be back later, hope that patch works out ok.

I'm in the UK, I doubt that it would read different dependant on location, before I updated to 1.1.4 my 1.1.3 firmware read as 1.1.3(4A93), so who knows I'm not that bothered as I don't use iTunes that much, I have all my music on my phone and I backup with iPhone PC Suite.
