wifi internet using PPPoE

hey folks,

just wanted to know if there's a way to connect to the internet using PPPoE, as my wireless router supports PPPoE only.

hope you can help me out!

(it is some siemens router, my internet provider is german hansanet (alice)!)

The iPhone cannot dial PPPoE. Only way is to make your wireless router dial the PPPoE automatically. What you need to do is go into your admin settings page which is 192.168.0.1 or something on those lines and select PPPoE as the option to connect, enter your Username/pass and your set.

there is no way to set up the router somehow.

New router then it is for you

I needed that feature as well for the home setup. Bought a refurb Netgear for $10
