I've been reading around everywhere to see if anyone with an unlocked v1.1.1 w/ 3.9BL iphone knows how to correctly upgrade to 1.1.3 directly using itunes and then the ziPhone method without going through updating to 1.1.2?

Do I just plug in my 1.1.1 unlocked iphone, hit the upgrade button (and not restore first) in iTunes to upgrade to 1.1.3? Won't this brick my phone?

Someone point me in the right direction? There's so many tutorials regarding upgrading to 1.1.2 then downgrading to 1.1.1 and whatnot I'm so confused as to which is the correct method?

Upgrade to 1.1.3 in iTunes. Then run ZiPhone, then AnySIM1.3. No need for 1.1.2 anymore.

One way or another your going to end up uploading a fresh 1.1.3 image. Theres no point of messing around with steps in between.

A few more questions before I proceed. This upgrade will update my modem firmware and not the bootloader correct? Which means, I'll get all the 1.1.3 features except for the gmap triangulation feature?

Did you upgrade from 1.1.1 and also notice any problems after upgrade/unlock?

That is correct. Only the modem firmware and firmware will be upgraded, the bootloader remains at 3.9.

I upgrade my phone from 1.1.3 Nates JB to this ture JB today. I have however upgraded a phone at 1.0.2, to 1.1.1, to 1.1.3 yesterday and it worked fine.
