Hallo,

once again i have some problems to set up my iPhone.
i'd like to surf on the internet by using vodafone as provider.

i found two different services here for setting up EDGE:

1) wap.vodafone.de
2) event.vodafone.de

the first one belongs to my contract and would be free,
but don't works, the websites try to load and nothing happens,
finally i'm getting an error after a while "server stops responding"

the second one works but results in extra costs i don't want to pay.

so is someone out there who have an idea on using the first methode (apn)?

I think you should use the GPRS values (web.vodafone.de)

edge?... Do vodafone have edge coverage then? Or are you in the US? I am in the UK, on vodafone contract, will my only choice be GPRS?
