With all the bugs and missing abilities like edge and locations not working, there is no real reason to upgrade to this version as it really doesnt accomplish much other than give you a headache!

also this method violates copyrights, making it an ILLEGAL hack.

DevTeam mentions they hope to have a legitimate LEGAL hack for all of us in the very near future, possibly the next few days or so!

I think alot of people (including me almost) want to rush right into this so they can upgrade, dispite the warnings because alot of people are ignorant of just what is going on in the hacking community.

Hopefully this thread recieves a sticky for all the n00bs and ignorant people who use this pathetic jailbreak and so we can minimize the topics on here that actually use Nate's JB method, and when DevTeam release solid hack, scream for help to go back to normal and re-JB with DevTeam's comming method!

So in order to downgrade to 1.1.2, Should I just Shift+restore in itunes and select 1.1.2 then dfu mode and downgrade to 1.1.1 then jailbreak> oktoprep>upgrade? would this work?

Yes, that should work, just follow the guide given at hacktheiphone.com if you need further help to downgrade fw to 1.1.1 and okto back to 1.1.2

also if you DID begin Nate's JB method, and stopped after getting the 300mb on ur iphone, make sure to get it off, its located in the var/root/media/softupdate folder. im trying to use iphonebrowser to get it off, use any method you can to get your 300mb worth of media back.

Do not soft-update your iPhone using this method.

if not Nate devteam would still be poking their egos with useless posts and some lame movie fragments playing NES 2.0.4 while hundreds of people were waiting for a way out of 1.1.3
only now they have to work hard to produce something better and more stable, and for that I thank you, Nate! finally you made what we all prayed for - you made them work on the subject
to jb betatesters - as stated before - you don't like it, you don't use it
illegal, wrong, who cares? it is here, it helps people. Problems will be fixed maybe much before the "official" jb is out, and non-team devs are finally able to produce apps for 1.1.3 like international keyboards & so on so when "legal"(still laughing) jb is out everything will be ready and cool

On my phone the JB works like a charm..
