So here is the thing
I run a mens website, on there we discuss the iphone. Mine was the first to hit the ground in the Uk and was the first activated in the uk as well, following DVDJons method I was getting peppered left right and centre from gadget mags, and a couple of newspapers asking for the scoop on the working iphone I had. I even got invited to an apple store in the Uk the week it was de-activated to show to their staff and hoardes of customers. I decide not to, as I receive a few strange emails and also a host of odd phone calls. Call me paranoid but I started to think Apple were after me! LOL Now.... All of a sudden my Itunes shuts down on me. I restart and go to plug my iphone back in. I'm now locked out again. My wallpaper is still there but I have the message Activate Iphone, connect to Itunes and the option to make an emergency call. No access to the normal stuff you get from getting into Itunes. Everytime I was pairing the phone, I was cancelling at the AT&T registration page and entering into the interface for my music, movies and podcasts etc. Now I have a defunked phone I tried to use iActivator and at the Activation stage following the entering of the Imei no. and the ICCID no I get a message saying 'Activation failed with code 402653165' Have Apple hunted me down and rogered me? LOL! I have not updated Itunes nor done anything out of the ordinary...yet all of a sudden my Iphone is back in its un-activated state and it appears I cannot get it back up! Any help would be appreciated! John |

John,
The error message code 402653165 normaly indicates the iActivator can not contact the service (com.apple.afc2) or files on your phone . Did you jail break it first? If so, what program did you use to jail break, the older ones used a different service to com unicate with the phone. If you broke jail with an older version then you want to return the phone to jail with that same method and restore the services.plist Restart the phone and use iActivator for the jail break again but make sure you get the latest version. Restart phone again. Launch iActivator, make sure it sees you phone is not in jail and then follow the activation process again. Hope this helps. |
