Ical alerts on imported items?

Anyone know how to have alerts added to items automatically when imported via spanning sync or any other method?

(this is so i can get my google calendar appointments added with some kind of alarm that will show up on my iPhone. I add appointments in outlook '03 and funambol, SW, google caendar and spanning sync get the appointment s synced )

Alternatively, anyone know how to have just the calendar sync with a different computer than the rest of the "info" section?

It's driving me bonkers than i can't get my calendar items on my iPhone along with alerts without adding them back again manually.

Hi, I have questions that I think are along the same lines. Can someone tell me where I should manually put an iCal file on my phone so that the lame Calendar app will see it? iTunes doesn't see any iCal-based apps I have on my computer. I don't use Outlook, and it doesn't see Windows Calendar (fired up only in hopes that it would) or Mozilla's Lightning (ditto). What I really want it to do is sync with my Google calendar, but I am willing to manually download the iCal file and stick it where it needs to go, but I am not quite sure how to proceed. I have a Vista laptop and a thoroughly jailbreaked/unlocked/modded/1.0.2>1.1.1 phone and know my way around the iPhone's file structure. Typically I place files on my phone using iBrickr.
