how can i get music art on my iphone without using horrid itunes?

Well given that you have to use iTunes to load the music onto the phone I don't see why using iTunes is sooo horrible?

If you want cover art from a source other than iTunes then I suggest Amazon.com. Just click on the album cover and it opens up in a new window and then save it and tag your files using your chosen music tag editor.

I used to grab all my covers from Amazon and then tag my albums, however I would suggest that its better to get cover art from iTunes because Amazon does their cover art at 500x500 pixels while iTunes covers are 600x600 pixels. The only problem is a cover in Amazon is a jpg file so its around 50-80k in size whereas iTunes covers are saved as bmp files so they are around 1MB in size!

If you are really into your coverart as i am (coverflow is amazing isn't it?) then what I do is grab the cover from iTunes, then click get "get info" on the file and then click to the last tab where the cover art is and then right click and copy. Then simply paste it in some folder and the 1MB bmp file cover will appear. Then simply open it up in a picture editor (ACDSEE for example) and then resave it as a jpg. This will give nearly as good quality and only be 1/10th the file size at around 100k. Once done, simply tag and embed it into your album using whatever tag editor you have.

As my country is not listed on iTunes Store, I cannot create an account. Thus I cannot download artworks and tags.

Does anyone know how can I trick iTunes in order to download album info?

I use Easy CD-DA Extractor 11.0.0 Build 1, with Tag v3 option. The covert art is automatic download form Amazon.

Maybe but I couldn't figure it out. To get an account, you must supply an US address as well as your credit card number. The address is fine, I put my cousin's in Miami. But when I put my credit card, it tells me the address doesn't match and it has been issued by a non american bank.

i use tag and rename, its one of my fav programs for changing tags and that stuff, it grabs the album art, title etc from amazon and stuffs it in the fike

its soo quick, it didnt take me long to rename all my music files into one type

artist - album - track - # - title or whatever format you want
