The minimum auto check setting for mail on the iphone is 15 minutes. Does anyone know where this option can be changed? I’d like to change the auto check to say 5 minutes. I’m wondering if I can edit some preference file so I can see 5 minutes as an option on the auto check settings and then actually will check for new email every 5 minutes.

hmmm, good one.
I've seen modifications made to the menu as well as addition to the settings. I dont see why this cant be done. Unfortunately, im writing this from my iPhone and cant copy and paste the link for extending your preferences. The thread may be found on the first page of this forum. Agreat explanation is giving granted you have indepth xml knowledge. Last edited by afterdigital; 07-24-2007 at 04:08 AM. |

That would probably be pretty easy to add. I'd try it myself, but I'm on a PPC Mac and was left in the dark weeks ago (no ppc jailbreak).
