I have a question,

i didn't turn the autolock to never, and now my Iphone 1.1.1 justs gets to the ACTIVATE YOUR IPHONE screen (at the beginning) but doesnt respond to the touch...
i have tried restoring it but still doesn't respond.

what can i do???

what do you mean with restart it??
i have turned it on restore mode and restored it back to 1.1.1. but it keeps on not responsive to the touch!

the on/off button doesn't work, it just restarts every few minutes, (i have to press the ON/off and the otherone and goes to restore)

how do i restart it?

just hold the power button for a few seconds and a slider will pop up.
if it doesn't work, hold power and home button for about 8 seconds and release both.

BUT; when i press the off button, the slide bar to turn it off doesn't appear...

when i pressed both buttons for 8 secs it turned off, but when i turned it on again it kept on non-responsive...
i can just see the ACTIVATE IPHONE and the world map, the "slide for emergency" is non responsive to the touch too.......

i don't know what else to do..

BASICALLY, once it turns on after 1 second the software blocks and i can ONLY turn it OFF (keeping both pressed 8 secs, or restore (which leaves it as its now blocking after 1 second)

what can i do??? it is still not activated nor unlocked....

mayb its a hardware problem... if u have tried restoring a couple of times.. and tried it on a friends computer as well.. u might as well try and return it back to an apple store and get a new one...

i have only tried in my pc, but when i restore it doesn't give me any problem....

just when it turns back on it doesn't work.

it worked at the beggining perfectly, until y tried to use appsnap to activate it, at the end of the process when it restarted before unlocking successfully this happened, and now theres nothing i can do!!!

i have restores it back a couple ot times to 1.1.1 which is its "factory" version and still nothing, blocked!!!!
can i take it back after restoring and they'll change it in an apple store?? the prob is they'll give me a new software...

or can they look at it'??????????? i mean after restoring it and not having run the unlock for the sim, the phone should be like out of the box?¿???¿¿?
