Default Language Project from iTouch to iPhone

Hey

I have started a little language project since i am danish and own a iTouch and a iPhone and would like to have the danish language on the iPhone and i want to give this information on to others.

So far they are v1.1.1, i have unlocked them both and taken a full copy/backup of the iTouch and iPhone.
You can get the iTouch files here:
http://www.tox.dk/download/other/itouch_v1_1_1_full.zip

First do this (taken from another place on this forum).
How to enable international keyboard:
Download and Edit the M68AP.plist file in
/System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/
under <key>international</key>
change <false/> to <true/>
and upload it again.
Reboot the iPhone.
On the iPhone goto "Settings->General".
You will find the new topic "International" - set it to your choice.

My first test is the calendar (MobileCal.app)
What i have done is copy InfoPlist.strings and Localizable.strings
from iTouch \Applications\MobileCal.app\da.lproj\
to iPhone \Applications\MobileCal.app\English.lproj\

Now the calendar have the danish language.
Instead of da.lproj, you just use you language folder.

Here is a list of the standard applications and status.

Calculator.app - only in english
DemoApp.app - only in english
MobileAddressBook.app - no lang in file
MobileCal.app - working
MobileMusicPlayer.app - working
MobileSafari.app - working
MobileSlideShow.app - got lang, but i dont know what it is
MobileStore.app - working
MobileTimer.app - working
Preferences.app - working
YouTube.app - working

SpringBoard.app in \System\Library\CoreServices\SpringBoard.app\ - working
but since not all that apps are on the iTouch (Stocks, Maps, Weather) there is no languages for them.
The weird thing is that SMS and Camera has languages but the apps is not on the iTouch...

EAP-RSA.ppp in \System\Library\Extensions\EAP-RSA.ppp\ - got lang...
but i do not know what it is, think it is for the VPN.

I am not sure what these do... but they all have languages.
in \System\Library\Frameworks\
AddressBook.framework -
AddressBookUI.framework -
AppSupport.framework -
Celestial.framework -
ITSync.framework -
iTunesStore.framework -
Message.framework -
MessageUI.framework -
MoviePlayerUI.framework -
MusicLibrary.framework -
OfficeImport.framework -
PhotoLibrary.framework -
Preferences.framework -
TelephonyUI.framework -
UIKit.framework -

in \System\Library\PreferenceBundles\
AirPortSettings.bundle - working
BluetoothSettings.bundle - working
ContactsSettings.bundle - working
EDGESettings.bundle - working
iPodSettings.bundle - working
MobileCalSettings.bundle - working
MobileSafariSettings.bundle - working
MobileSlideShowSettings.bundle - working
MusicSettings.bundle - working
VideoSettings.bundle - working
VPNPreferences.bundle - working
Wallpaper.bundle - working

Think that was them all.

nice work, it will help me with my italian translation!

ToxDK, instead of overwriting your english.lproj, just try and copy da.lproj in the same folder. then just change language in the preferences. this so you can revert to english whenever you want.

ToxDK - did you just move the files in the da.lproj folder to the iPhone in the different applications? Should work...

I tried to move the folder da.Iproj for each app. and so on - and that works too.. now I can change between english and danish in regional settings.

I´ve only bought the 4 GB version :0)
