you need a hex editor such as ultraedit...
you open the itunes.exe file in the hex editor and then edit the listed offsets.
for instance: 257074:28 means go to byte number 257074 (decimal) in the file and then enter 28 (hex) as the byte in that location. do this for all three offset locations. when there are multiple bytes listed it means start at the listed location and change the next n bytes. when you are done save the file back as itunes.exe in the same folder.
go to the hosts file (in the listed directory) and open it using notepad. scroll down to the end of the file ( you will see lots of similar entries that look like 127.0.0.1 something.com) after the last entry beginning with the 127.0.0.1 start a new line and add in the listed entry. save the host file back (its probably marked read-only so go right click properties and uncheck the read only box first, save the file, and re check it)
then all you do is run the activation server file first, leave it running and then run itunes. now when you plug in your iphone it will activate automatically in about 60 seconds.
