My iphone is going in for repair or possibly swapped because of my terrible battery life and problems charging. This is my second iphone because the first had a defective screen. This screen is absolutely perfect and im nervous about giving it up. However my iphone is on tmobile and im nervous that they may upgrade to 1.1.1. Has anyone recently gone through this process and there iphone came back with 1.02 still installed? Any help would be greatly appreciated

If it does come back as 1.1.1 i do have the option to restore it to 1.02 by holding the option key right? Will idependence work on a downgraded phone? I am using the hypersim method so im not worried about the sw unlock or anything. Any help guys?

It will most likelly come back 1.1.1 as they update all phones they touch, to downgrade you use itunes and apptap, you can use independence to activate again

Don't worry about the upgrade too much. I'm not a computer genius and I just downgraded my 1.1.1 phones...it's actually fun.
