Let's start a single thread to collect information and tricks about making Winterboard Themes.

I will start with the best one I've found: icon label text shadows

text properties for the Docked and UnDocked icons have full CSS properties. Since the browser engine is Safari, it support CSS 3 text-shadow, so now your icon text can have nice a nice shadow for improved readability.

For example (in Info.plist):

Will produce white text with a dark blue "glow"

You just pick the color combination that matches your theme, and you can also play with the 3 parameters of the shadow (X offset, Y offset and blur size).

Ah, do not forget, new theme directories now can have the ".theme" extension. Please use it.

so you make themes with photoshop? how does that work?

Check that out on the iphone, I don't look forward to the hideous themes that come from it.

My tip: It is possible to have a webpage(*.html) as ur lockscreen wallpaper ... ! If I'm the last person to know this.. please excuse ...

The latest upgrade on WinterBoard includes a Server Lock example which seems to be a Lock screen background connecting to saurik's website.. This works the same as Wallpaper themes..

The actual lockscreen wallpaper blocks the view of the webpage and this can be worked around with a blank LockScreenWallpaper.png image in the themes root folder.. ..

I have used Sauriks theme of two fading images as Lockscreen wallpaper..!

P.S: Still not able to find out how to take screenshot of Lockscreen. If anyone knows, please share.. !!

the iframe pulls a webpage that I built..

and second one: where is the "slide to unlock" part stored?
