So i thought i would start this thread in a vain hope that someone could tell me if the folowing apps work, perhaps it could turn into a form when people post which of thier favourite apps work with 2.0 firmware, So the apps im curious about are: summarboard poof video wallpaper launcher islsk fring orblive ringtones well thats all i can think of, and confimations would be welcomed, and if a simular thread has been posted could leave a link before you delete the post. Thanks in advance |

The only compatible 3rd party Community Apps are the one available on Cydia.
The list will improve with the release of Installer v4.0 |

Well, I have tested some applications and none worked, the applications are:
Fring: The program starts, it shows the fring logo then it shows the springboard again. iPhoneVideoRecorder: Same as fring. Chess: Same as fring :'( Terminal vt-100 ver 296: Same as fring. Installer: Same as fring. Then I got tired testing programs. Now there are 2 different folders for applications, the first one you certainly should know is the /Applications/ folder, the new one is located at /var/mobile/Applications/ where I presume is used by the appStore to put applications that you download or buy. If you try (just as me) to upload homebrew applications to the /var/mobile/Applications/ it shows a white icon but still don't work. I hope someone find a turnaround for this issue. |
