Would be very glad if so.

Yeah it sounds like you are stuck in head-phone-mode. Just try to plug it in / remove it a few times and it should work. Or clean the earphone-jack with that kind of thing you just to clean your ears..

This is very common.

Please please please where can I get this, Ive been stuck with this stupid volume logo in the middle of my screen for months
Unfortunately, the hack i've made will be obsolete soon as it doesn't work with 2.0 Firmware because of its code signing scheme that prevent the system to run/execute modified system files.

Since PwnageTool 2.0 has been released, threads about previous Firmwares are getting buried by 2.0 one.
All 1.1.x Firmwares will die soon (when almost all the 3rd party community apps will get updated).

I'm trying now to find another way to disable the volume buttons.

I would be very glad if you could release it anyway? Think many just like me would like a really working 1.1.4 much more than a 2.0.

Of course, I myself plan to update to 2.0 sometime so if you find a solution on the new version that would be awesome too.

Default 2.0 Release

Hey Guys,

Looks like the 2.0 release had broken this fix. Can anyone confirm this?

I have read more about that now. Do you know if he still are active within the iphone-community and where he might be now to help people?

The only reason I joined hackintosh and visit it is because of XianLi and will delete my account as soon as I know where he has moved too. Do you know if he is still doing some work on a volume button fix for 2.0?

Cant confirm about the 2.0 since wait for manual volume button fix for 2.0 untill I update firmware.

Xian left on his own will. no one kicked him out or anything. as per where he went, he left. not another forum, just left. as for the fix, should be one soon.
