need backup for windows

I need to restore a 1.1.2 and need to backup all contacts and sms before doing it....someone pls tell me what program i can use to do it. im on windows by the way

just restore ur iphone and itunes lets you restore ur old iphone settings inc log, sms contacts (backed up with winows address book or outlook also)

Will it restore spme settings or apps that could mess my phone later ? I want only contacts restored, nothing else...

Sync your contacts with Yahoo/Outlook before you restore to 1.1.*

When your phone has restored jst set up the phone as NEW then sync contacts back with Yahoo/Outlook again.

But you will still lose your SMS that way
