The guys at iphonemod.com.br have just released the Beta version of the new app called "iBlacklist".
It is not perfect yet, but it looks very promising. a) Still doesnīt support numbers with international prefix. b) To add a contact to be blocked, you have to go through the agenda manually, as it doesnīt have the letters of the alphabet, on the side. When they release the final version, whatever is greyed out (SMS filtering) will be active. Price, they say, will be symbolic. Here is where they posted it, but if you donī speak Portuguese, donīt bother. http://www.iphonemod.com.br/forum/vi...php?f=9&t=3245 Repository in the installer: http://repo.iphonebrasil.org/ They emphasize, it is still the Beta version, and in tests. For me, it is almost good enough. As soon as they sort out the international prefix issue. Donīt kill the messenger if something does not work out. Last but not least: for now, PASSWORD is the number "1" Last edited by Duke of Holland; 04-02-2008 at 01:20 PM. |

The Demo/Test version only allows 2 numbers to be added to the Blacklist. Actually you can add more, but only the 2 first will be blocked. And, you can have the numbers in any format, except with the "+" (plus) sign as international code. Someone already asked them to add that funcionality. I have pysl .32 installed on my phone working fine and iblacklist works ok, just doesnt always block the number. For example I blocked my work phone number and called myself from work and it blocked it. Then tryed again right after and the phone refresh with spinning wheel then started to ring. Guessing this is due to the fact that this is a beta release but of course I could be wrong.

I also tryed to install this on a friends phone and forgot to restart before adding numbers and enabling blacklist and now the phone starts up to homescreen but is stuck and does nothing but refreshes with spinning wheel every couple of minutes but freezes right back. I'm gonna try to delete the app manually when I get home to see if it solves the issue. I hope so or I'll have to restore and pimp his phone all over again.

I installed this on my phone with fw 1.1.4, and it boots up to the lock screen, but I cannot swipe the unlock button to start it!! I have Pysl 0.32 installed as well. I tried to delete iBlacklist.app and Pysl.app manually via WinSCP, but it will not boot up. I press the Power and Home key at the same time, and it gets stuck at the startup apple screen. Any input would be appreciated. I have access to the directories via WinSCP, but I would rather not restore if not necessary.
