i dont have a problem with a piracy-free comunity, but I hate it when all of a sudden someone starts playing all smart and innocent.
I give props to all the people who work hard to maintain this place, but its hard to believe that a hacking community would for some reason be so much concerned about cracking one app.
And the fact that xianli had to delete the whole thread shows how much he cares about everyone else in here. In my opinion, you should have deleted only posts that pose legal issues for this site.

The hacks that this community endorse do not involve breaking any laws. Whether you guys want to admit it or not, stealing software, as harmless as it may seem, is still stealing.

No, I do not believe it is right for developers to be charging for apps at this point, especially at such high prices. That does not, however, make it right to steal said software. It makes Hackint0sh a target for legal recourse, and generally gives the iPhone dev community a bad name.

If you want to do it on your own, that's your choice, just don't drag us into it.

I have to agree with the members. While i do see a difference between Cracking/Hacking and piracy; the fact remains it is hypocritical to condone one while practicing the other. So again, yes Piracy is bad but to go to the extreme that this forum has gone is a bit much. Mixed in with all those posts on piracy were very helpful solutions that are now gone. Something definetly needed to be done with how the forum was going, but common sense and TIME should have been involved before taking an action this extreme. The message in the forum now is basically like saying "You shouldn't run any red lights." (as you breaking the speed limit while saying it)
