Hi there,

As this is my first post i first want to thank everybody in this forum, and ofcourse the guys from hackint0sh for this great resource for the iphone.

My problem:
In the status bar on my iphone, where the carrier is located and the wifi logo is I see the time constant beeing the same; 9:42 AM

I think some 3rd party app called extended preferences f*cked this up.
I have allready performed a restore to 1.1.1 and afterwards a update to 1.1.2
nothing seems to help.

Is there a way to modificate this time, or else replace my preferences.app with the orriginal 1.1.2 (where can i find it?)

Is there no one who can tell me were to find the orriginal preferences.app for 1.1.2?...

The software would have made a backup copy of your original preferences.app - I believe the backup went into your actual preferences folder (take a look around)... but giving that you've restored, I'm not sure if it would still be there!

i am guessing u instlaled extended preferences???

if so then go into generla setting > interface > fake time .. then turn it off

Nope, i uninstalled the software because it was too buggy when using, and since the installer told me i could uninstall without worrying because he had made a backup i did... But it seems that even the uninstall/backup was buggy...

Can't find the backup in my preferences with winscp, and since the program was removed from the installer i have no posibility to swith the "fake time button" to off...

Also my carrier is missing, anyone can help me out on this one?

try settings --> general -->reset and "Reset All Settings"
It worked for my iphone.

By the way does anybody here have the Preferences.app for 1.1.3 pliz
It got deleted after tryna uninstall that stupid advanced preferences. Here is wut i did in order for it to happen SO PLIZ DONT RECREATE THIS IF U DONT WANNA HAVE UR PREFERENCES FILE DELETED!!
1) Uninstalled it, it went fine
2) then uninstalled another app n went to the springboard
3) then it was gone.

Concluding; Never everrrrr install this lame program again, i think it should never be made downloadable as if it was already alpha state. This one was not even close to beeing a beta....

Zero credits to the maker(s).

I still got the same problems, de reset all setting didn't work for me...still waiting for another solution...

anybody has the 1.1.3 prefferences.app ?????????
