I soft upgraded from 1.1.1 JB using NT's method a couple of days ago. I just realized that my iTunes Store preview does not work. I noticed that other people have the same problem. I don't have any other network issue, as far as I can tell (mail is fine, I have multiple accounts and they all work well). Is there any fix for this problem?

did u update from 1.11 to 1.13? if so then if u really wanna fix it i heard sumwhere u have to go from 1.12 to 1.13 for itunes music store to work.

so if u really wanna fix then u should downgrade to 1.11 jailbreak/oktoprep->1.12 jailbreak and softupdate->1.13

I did upgrade from 1.1.1. That was the appealing feature of Nate's JB, did not have to do the whole oktopre>1.1.2>jailbreak process

However, the rest of the iTunes Store seems working fine. I have not tried to buy a song from it since I upgraded, but I can connect and browse music. Preview does not work though

One more funny thing: I can play songs I bought, but there is one song I can't play. It's the only song a bought from a previous iPhone. Early in November my previous iPhone broke and Apple replaced it. I have been able to play that song on the new iPhone until I did Nate's soft upgrade. Now I can't. Why?

Exactly the same problem! I bought a song to test and this is what happens when i go to play:

Lets say the bought song is song a

Press play on song a
Timer (on the song) stays at 0
Press pause
Timer jumps to 1 second (no sound)
Go to play ANY other song
Same problem as song a
Play another song
Timer goes along but no sound
Skip to beginning of that song
Everything works again (except song a)

I will buy another song from iTunes and test that as well.

I used Nates JB and my Itunes store is working 100% but I have a legit ATT Iphone plan and I installed virgin lockdown file and let Itunes activate my Iphone. Everything is working on my Iphone with needing to use any of the fixes like for e-mail, stock ring tones, etc.

I have a felling Itunes store is just like new Google Maps which require baseband 04.03.13_G and a proper 1.1.3 lockdown file.

I am having the same problem. But it gets worse: I just realized that I can't play songs I bought from iTunes store and synced from my laptop to my iPhone. Up to now, I thought Nate's and Dev Team's upgrade were similar, but I now can see why people (at least those still having 1.1.1 JB) should not use Nate's.

We need somebody to work on a fix for this annoying problem.

I also have a legit ATT plane. It would be great if what u did would fix my problem. Can u tell me exactly what u did? Where did u get the virgin lockdown file and how u installed it? And what u mean with 'let itunes activate my iphone'? wasn't your iphone activated already?

I would really appreciate a detailed answer so that I can fix this problem

I'm having the same issue. Even songs purchased over Wifi on my iPhone's iTunes Store app won't play. Songs that will play on all of my authorized computers and AppleTV won't play on the iPhone either. Think I might just go back to 1.1.2 in the meantime.
